Tim Smith

Tim Smith is the Chief Trust Officer for Global Trust Company (“GTC”). He has over twenty- one years of experience in the investment industry, and joined GTC in September of 2017. As Chief Trust Officer, Tim is responsible for the fiduciary and fund administration oversight of our collective investment trusts and LLC’s. Tim oversees a team of over ten individuals with extensive experience in these areas.

Prior to joining GTC, Tim was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”) where his focus was on the financial statement audits of private funds (common and collective, hedge, venture, private equity) and public funds (’40 Act mutual funds).  

Tim received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University in 2003. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
